Basilio Reinike, Head of Excursions at Tierra Patagonia, speaks with us about the many different excursions that can be undertaken in this incredible part of Chile and some of the positive consequences that this forced pause has had in nature, due to the restrictions in the national park.

Basilio tells us that the Torres del Paine National Park, which had closed down completely due to pandemic restrictions, has experienced an unusual recovery in its biodiversity this year. According to the experienced guide, there has been a notable increase in the diverse flora and fauna of the zone, news that has observers very excited.
