Grey Bridges

Level: Difficult
Duration: Full Day

Embark on a challenging 13-mile (21 km) hike, spanning approximately 12-14 hours. This rigorous trek is an active alternative to see the grey glacier from another perspective up above from the bridges.

Beginning with a 1-hour and 50-minute transfer to the Grey sector, our journey kicks off with a scenic 1-hour navigation to the lake’s northern side, where we will start our hike.

The initial stage, from where get dropped off involves a 1.5-hour uphill hike in a northerly direction, offering a captivating approach to the glacier. Navigating through an awe-inspiring lenga forest, we enjoy unparalleled views of one of the Southern Ice Fields’ most stunning glaciers near the suspension bridges.

Returning to the initial point 3 hours hiked already, we will have something to eat and later finish with another 8,5miles (13.5 km) towards Paine Grande Lodge. Here, a 30-minute catamaran journey across Lake Pehoé awaits, transporting us to our driver, who will take us back to the hotel for another 50 more minutes.
